As President and CEO of The Film Posse, Tracy brings 25 years of experience to the business of telling non-fiction stories on film and video, plus a background in advertising and direct marketing. She has a reputation for strong organizational skills and creative problem solving, bringing clarity to complicated, multi-faceted productions. Tracy’s abilities extend beyond management and producing. She is a skilled interviewer whose thorough preparation and understated techniques put even the most camera shy individuals at ease. An award-winning filmmaker whose independent creative works won her a Brother Thomas Artist Fellowship in 2009, and in 2007, a LEF Documentary Fellowship and Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship, the latter with MacLowry, Tracy is expanding her media-making skill set to include web design and development through study at the Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education program. An American Studies major at Wellesley College and Technology, Innovation and Education concentrator at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, she maintains a strong interest in using digital technologies to advance the study of the humanities for all.
